ABOUT ME
I left the U.S. for the first time in 2014 and found a world full of amazing people and places through international volunteer work. Two years later, my travels led me to study Human Rights Development and Journalism at The American University of Paris, France and a MSc in Poverty, Inequality and Development at the University of Manchester.
Currently, I'm working in the ICT4D space on internet freedom initiatives at the intersection of digital security and digital rights. I enjoy wandering through countries with no itinerary, just the goals of eating like a local, talking like a local, and meeting locals. Oh, and somehow trying to capture it all through my lens. My hope is that my tales from abroad will influence one person to travel beyond what they know. Let me tell you, it's amazing out there. Better yet, let me show you. Check out my portfolio! Keep wanderlusting, Caroline Thee WLT |
